
Dr. Olin graduated from the faculty of Science at the University of Winnipeg in 1993 and obtained his Chiropractic Degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1997.
His treatments include manual and instrument adjustment, adjustments, laser therapy, various modalities, and exercise prescriptions.
Dr. Olin’s practice is diverse and family oriented with a strong focus on sports injury, back pain prevention and treatment. Gerald is proud to be the Chiropractor for the Winnipeg Jets, Manitoba Moose, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Valour FC, and Winnipeg Ice Hockey, and various community sports teams.
He has served his profession for many years as a member and chair of the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board, Canadian Chiropractic Association. Dr. Olin worked for many years on many committees of the Manitoba Chiropractors Association. Some of his work included chairing the Standards Committee, Government Relations, Negotiations and Child and Family Services Committee and serving as the MCA liaison for Mount Camel Clinic Chiropractic Program.
Previous activity also included membership with the Winnipeg West Rotary Club where he enjoyed serving as a member of the World Community Service Committee and Chair of the Youth Projects Committee. He was Co-Chair of the Maccabi Canada Manitoba Regional Board and a National Athletic Committee member. Dr. Olin served as Provincial Team Manager and member of the Coach and Player Development Committee for the Manitoba Soccer Association. He was awarded the Order of the Buffalo Hunt by the Province of Manitoba in 1992 and then inducted as a member of the 1992 Winnipeg Fury into the Manitoba Sports Hall of fame in recognition for his work as Assistant General Manager for the 1992 Canadian Soccer League Champion, Winnipeg Fury.
In 2009 Dr. Olin was the recipient of the Manitoba Soccer Association Fred Stambrook Outstanding Volunteer Award presented to a volunteer with involvement of at least 25 years who has contributed outstandingly to the growth and development of the sport of soccer in Manitoba.
In 2015 he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Manitoba Chiropractors Association.
In 2022 he was awarded the Medal of Merit, the highest distinction awarded to a Chiropractor by the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
